Yampa Precision was originally founded in 1976 by the Barber family in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The company was named after the Yampa Valley River which flows through Steamboat Springs. In 1982 the Barber family relocated to Prescott Valley, Arizona and moved the business with them.
Yampa Precision was established on the principle of personalized customer service through working to meet our customers’ needs while providing uncompromised quality products. We value our employees as part of our success and we are always working to provide a safe and friendly work environment. Through treating our highly-skilled staff with respect and dignity and as part of our team, more than 50% of our staff have been here 5 years or more. Yampa Precision is your provider of machined parts for aerospace, defense, weapons, medical, technology and commercial industries. Our capabilities range from engineering and design, CNC precision machining, high to low volume, contract and split deliveries and assembly. We work with a variety of materials. Such as; aluminum, stainless steel, alloy steel, plastics, titanium, brass, etc.
